Her career has been defined by an unwavering dedication to fostering a love for learning and nurturing the intellectual growth of countless students.

Anne Marie's journey in education began with a deep-rooted calling. Inspired by her family's tradition of kindness and giving, she knew from an early age that her mission was to become a teacher. Her commitment to making a positive impact through education, coaching, and helping students reach their full potential has driven her remarkable career.

Her educational journey took her from the College of the Holy Cross, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in history and Spanish, to Spain, where she obtained a Master’s in Spanish from Middlebury College, Madrid. Anne Marie's pursuit of knowledge led her to study abroad at the University of the Balearic Islands, Mallorca, and the University of Granada, Granada, enriching her perspective for the impactful career that awaited her. In 2001, she returned to Massachusetts, joining North Attleboro High School as a teacher and coach.

North Attleboro, for Anne Marie, is not just a place of work; it's a home filled with amazing people who have shaped her career. Anne Marie taught both Latin and Spanish, earning national recognition for her students' language skills. Additionally, she founded Little Language Schools, where World Language National Honor Society students volunteered to teach French and Spanish to elementary students.

Anne Marie's influence extends to coaching, particularly in track and cross country, where she was named Boston Globe’s Division Two Indoor Coach of the Year and an eight-time coach of Sportsmanship Award-Winning Teams. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes building student confidence and teaching the value of constant self-improvement.

Her impact extends beyond the high school and community. Mentorship programs, including the Foreign Language Leader Program and Foreign Language Peer Tutor Program, exemplify her commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment. Engaging with the community, she translated for Spanish-speaking families, served on the Parent Advisory Council, and contributed to the district's improvement plan.
